Evan says: This information primarily is in regards to more advanced players or groups of players who are capable of attacking, seizing, or controlling cities.
I. Introduction: Cities, kingdoms etc. are called provinces and basically places for players to visit in general. They are controlled by either a player or an NPC.
1. Statistics: Each province has the following statistics, as listed below.
-A. Gold Worth: How much Gold an area generates each week at 11:59AM EST on Thursday.
-B. Gold Reserves: How much gold is currently within the city. Shops often tax items, and those taxes are typically sent to the Gold Reserves.
-C. Population: Total amount of people within the area. The population grows by 10% weekly at the same time as you get Gold Worth. The population can be conscripted within your army, which you then equip them with armor and weapons (unless you want them to fight with just their fists).
II. Interaction: There are various ways to interact with a province but are not limited to the following, If you wish to attack an area, you either have to be very strong or have support.
1. Raiding: To loot and kill. You must first kill the defending forces, and then you may steal the gold reserves.
- Advantages over Conquering: You don't have to place a constant defense to keep it under your control.
- Disadvantages over Conquering: They'll either seek for help, have their military stronger to better repel off attacks, hire someone to hunt you down or a combination of them.
2. Conquering: Capturing a province under your control. You simply just need to take out any defending forces and keep it under your occupation.
Note: The first area you conquer may grow into a capital and the type of area you conquer is relevant to which "route" it grows. If the first conquered province is either a city or great city, it becomes a Large Kingdom or Great Kingdom. If the first province you capture is a village, it becomes a Kingdom.
- Advantages over Conquering: You will automatically gain gold from it weekly, so no constant attacking a province over some gold.
- Disadvantages over Raiding: You"ll fall prey to anyone willing to take your piece of land, so you"ll need to defend it.
Resting:: You can stay at an Inn, where you will be safe behind the provinces gates.
Trade: Buy or sell items at the shops.
Quests: Some provinces may have quests that you can take.
